Play Golf at Margaret River Golf Club. We are an easy 7 kilometres drive from the centre of town.  The challenging par 72 (par 73 for women) course is one of Western Australia’s most highly regarded country courses and would be a highlight of any golfing tour of the South West.

The course is set on 65 hectares of original and natural bushland near the mouth of the Margaret River and winds its way up and down the slopes of the coastal ridge. This spectacular setting is complemented by an abundance of flora and fauna, native and local trees.

What you need to know before you play golf at Margaret River Golf Club:

The following guidelines are regarded as minimum standards. It is the duty of all members to ensure that both they and their visitors adhere to these standards.

While it is acknowledged that evolving fashions make absolute guidelines impractical, our prime objective remains unchanged – that the standard of dress on the course and in the clubhouse reflects the expectations of Members and guests. Member’s Clubhouse facilities include the Verandah areas, Change Rooms, Kitchen and Bar. The following guidelines are regarded as minimum standards. It is the duty of all members to ensure that both they and their visitors adhere to these standards. And you can check out the rules of golf here.

On the Course and Practice Areas

Golf shoes must be non-metal spikes ONLY. Any non-regulation footwear likely to damage greens will be prohibited.

Golf attire should always be neat, tidy and comfortable.

In the Club House

Smart neat casual and golf shoes permitted. There will be times where the Club will require a higher standard of dress at some functions and this will be advised to members before these events.

Practice facilities

Driving Range: The club boasts a 180m, irons only, practice range with range balls available from the pro shop. Safety restrictions do apply to range usage and Competitions may limit availability.

Chipping Green: Our large chipping green has a range of challenging banks along with a bunker to optimise your short game practice.

Putting Greens: Two large putting greens are a perfect way to prepare for your round.
